Chef Steven Riemer introduces weekly and monthly specials alongside unique pairing dinners and all-you-can-eat oysters
(San Diego, CA) – Oceana Coastal Kitchen, the signature restaurant at the Catamaran Resort Hotel and Spa, will enter October with a variety of new ways that guests can enjoy the bay-front locale, including weekly and monthly special offers, exclusive dinner events and one of San Diego’s only all-you-can-eat oyster nights.
Sustainable and local ingredients, particularly those that are reflective of Oceana’s surf and turf menu, will continue to play a lead role alongside craft cocktails and beers, live entertainment and chef-driven additions. Highlights of Oceana Coastal Kitchen’s new specials include:
Weekly specials: On Mondays and Tuesdays, guests can order fresh flatbreads, house-made sushi and craft cocktails—all at just $9 each—until 9 p.m. On Wednesdays, $5 Mai Tai’s and live music are on the menu until 9 p.m., while Thursdays will become a destination for oenophiles with half-price wines offered throughout the evening.
Monthly specials: Every first Wednesday of the month guests can experience Oyster Fest @ Oceana hosted at the cold bar, with $29 all you can each oysters served alongside $9 infused vodka or beer flights. The inaugural Oyster Fest will take place Wednesday, October 7.
Prix fixe pairings: Once per month, Oceana Coastal Kitchen will debut a one-time-only, specialty whiskey or wine-paired dinner event intended to highlight the flavors of a specific distillery or vineyard in conjunction with unique courses created by Oceana’s Executive Chef Steven Riemer. Partners will be announced each month via Oceana’s website and Facebook.
