|
| San Diego, California (May 2008)

deception shadow a resort in Rio de Janeiro during the first
Carnival celebration after World War II. As masked guests
of the "Hotel Ipacabana", you'll dine, dance and
deduce while watching a suspenseful mystery-comedy that has
more twists and turns than a world-class Samba dancer! As
an added attraction, this interactive show is performed aboard
the William D. Evans Sternwheeler while cruising Mission Bay. |
| Named "Best
Dinner Theater" by San Diego Magazine and the San
Diego Reader, this interactive murder mystery allows guests
to solve the crime over dinner as the experience unfolds around
the sternwheeler and guest's tables. The fun begins upon boarding
the William D. Evans, located at the Bahia Resort Hotel boat
dock at 6:30 pm with pre-show appetizers and continues through
the beautifully prepared three-course meal. The 2 ½
hour show is priced at $60 per person, $30 for children under
12, price for registered hotel guest is $50 for Adults, $30
for children, including tax and gratuity. Reservations are

About
the William D. Evans:
The William D. Evans is a beautifully handcrafted 99-foot
vessel, which can accommodate up to 600 guests and provides
all modern amenities while still maintaining nineteenth century
grace and charm. Launched in 1987, the William D. Evans is
a masterpiece of fine craftsmanship, where every detail has
been painstakingly labored to produce an environment, which
stops time and recalls the era when majestic boats ruled the
waters. Asian ironwood parquet floors, hand carved mahogany
doors and etched glass accents every corner and all three
decks. The breathtaking upper deck ceiling is a stained glass
vaulted skylight 42 feet long and 18 feet wide. The skylights
radiant colors are created with over 50,000 pieces of imported
European stained glass. On the first level, the "Boiler
Room Bar" is twenty feet of copper and brass resembling
massive antique boilers. Lights glimmer, gauges fluctuate
and "fire" flickers adding a special excitement
to this one of a kind bar. |
