Spring in San Diego is all about enjoying the warm weather outdoors. From lei making and movies on the bay to poolside entertainment and happy hour specials, the Catamaran has a full lineup of spring resort activities to get the most out of the season.
Spring Resort Activities from March 7 through April 20

Sunday Fun & Games Cruise 3:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. | $20 GENERAL ADMISSION
Guests can enjoy a fun sightseeing cruise of Mission Bay aboard the William D. Evans. The 3-story sternwheeler boat offers an observation deck to view top sites of the 4,200-acre aquatic park. Cruise highlights include live entertainment, games, and a cash bar with snacks and libations. This exciting new boat cruise is a great way to spend a beautiful sunny afternoon.
*Reservations required and all guests must have ticket, regardless of age. Boarding times may vary; check with front desk for details. Outside food or beverage not permitted. Cruise subject to inclement weather and if cancelled, you may reschedule. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Must be 21+ with valid photo ID to consume alcohol. Start your vacation off with delicious refreshments at the Catamaran. Upon check-in, enjoy complimentary snack and beverage in the lobby.

Lei Making
Transport yourself to the islands and make your own fresh flower Lei for yourself or a gift. The activity has a $20 fee and is hosted on the south lawn (while supplies last).

Experience the magic of the Polynesian islands with this electrifying show featuring drums, torch lighting, and hula dancing set on the shores of Mission Bay.

Keiki Club
Children of all ages can show off their creative side during their stay at the Catamaran Resort Hotel. Families can head to the pool for the Keiki Club’s fun and interactive Hawaiian-inspired arts and crafts spring resort activities.

Hula Lessons
Join us on the south lawn for complimentary hula lessons for hotel guests. Get in the flow and learn the hula dancing techniques and movements set to island music in one of our favorite spring resort activities.

Self-Guided Scavenger Hunt
Pick up a self-guided scavenger hunt at the Concierge desk and explore the exciting things to see around the property. Bring your completed scavenger hunt to Lava Java to redeem for a complimentary treat.
